Raymond D. Green, Cofounder and Chief Executive Officer
Raymond (Ray) Green, with partner Catherine Rezak, founded Paradigm Learning, in 1994. Paradigm Learning is an employee training and communications organization, specializing in the use of innovative "discovery learning" techniques to design business games, simulations and Discovery Maps® programs to educate learners around critical business issues.
As Chief Executive Officer, Ray is responsible for directing the company's overall vision and for overseeing its financial health, including securing and managing banking and investor relationships. In addition to managing the company's senior operations and business development leaders, Ray directs efforts around joint ventures, strategic alliances and acquisitions for long-term growth.
He has been quoted extensively in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, CFO Magazine and Business Week about Paradigm Learning's approach to corporate education, including business and financial literacy for all employees. He also was interviewed on CNN Headline News about this subject.
Ray has accepted several prestigious awards on behalf of Paradigm Learning, including the University of Florida's Florida 100 Award as one of the state's fastest-growing companies (2000 and 2001) and the 2001 Business of the Year Award from ISA.
He has been a recognized contributor to the local community, most notably for his donations to the Florida Council on Economic Education. An economics education program, Strive to Drive, was custom designed for use with high-school students throughout the state, and Paradigm's premier business finance program, Zodiak®: The Game of Business Finance and Strategy, was donated for the training of teachers. Most recently, he has donated the use of the beach preservation program "Plant Our Beaches" to this organization for use, once again, with Florida high-school students. For these contributions, he has been presented with the Florida Council's President's Leadership Award twice in the past three years.
Ray has more than 25 years of experience in the human resource consulting and training field. He worked initially for a Fortune 500 company as Director of National Sales Training and then later, on his own, as a consultant to corporate clients around such issues as employee selection, leader assessment, management training, employee development, customer service, financial literacy, team effectiveness and more.
He owned and operated three other businesses before founding Paradigm Learning, including a commercial aircraft brokerage organization.
Ray holds a degree from Furman University. In his spare time, Ray is a Master Scuba Diver and enjoys hiking, kayaking, writing, playing percussion instruments, cooking and collecting jazz CDs.
